The #EndBadGovernance Movement, Lagos State chapter, has condemned the revocation of the bail granted to activist and African Action Congress (AAC) presidential candidate, Omoyele Sowore, describing his detention in Kuje prison as evidence of the “height of the Tinubu regime’s dictatorship.” In a statement issued on Tuesday and signed by Hassan Taiwo Soweto and Oloye Adegboyega-Adeniji on behalf of its organising committee, the group demanded the immediate withdrawal of all criminal charges against Sowore, insisting that the case against him is politically motivated.

The opposition party described the court order as a dangerous weaponisation of the judiciary by the authorities, assault on democratic values and the rule of law.
