The TIB Movement berated the Nigerian judiciary for bowing to oppressive power, describing the development as a critical test of the conscience and independence of Nigeria’s judiciary.
SaharaReporters earlier reported that Justice Mohammed Umar of the Federal High Court in Abuja, on Monday, ordered the remand of Sowore at the Kuje Correctional Centre in Abuja till Wednesday.
Justice Umar issued the order following the revocation of Sowore’s bail last week, as the court dismissed Sowore’s application seeking the recusal of the presiding judge in his trial over remarks in which he described President Bola Tinubu as a “criminal.”
