The Take-It-Back Movement (TIB), Bauchi State chapter, has condemned the remand of human rights activist and presidential candidate of the African Action Congress (AAC), Omoyele Sowore, at the Kuje Correctional Centre by the Federal High Court in Abuja. The TIB Movement berated the Nigerian judiciary for bowing to oppressive power, describing the development as a critical test of the conscience and independence of Nigeria’s judiciary.

The activist had requested an adjournment to June 16, but the court ruled that the request did not provide sufficient justification.
