According to the statement, the court ordered Sowore to surrender his international passport and provide two sureties in the sum of ₦200million each.

The Take-It-Back (TIB) Movement has condemned the bail conditions imposed on the presidential candidate of the African Action Congress (AAC), Omoyele Sowore, describing them as punitive, oppressive, excessive, and another act of political persecution aimed at silencing one of Nigeria's most vocal critics of corruption and abuse of power.

In a statement signed by its National Coordinator, Comrade Juwon Sanyaolu, the movement rejected the conditions attached to Sowore's release after the Federal High Court restored his bail, arguing that they amount to punishment before trial rather than measures designed to ensure his appearance in court.

According to the statement, the court ordered Sowore to surrender his international passport and provide two sureties in the sum of ₦200million each.

TIB further noted that one of the sureties must be a traditional ruler, while the other must be the owner of landed property in Abuja.
