The Rule of Law and Accountability Advocacy Centre (RULAAC) has strongly condemned the forceful abduction of human rights activist and presidential candidate of the African Action Congress (AAC), Omoyele Sowore, by operatives of the Department of State Services (DSS) from the premises of the Federal High Court in Abuja. RULAAC blasted DSS for turning the courtroom into a “theatre of intimidation and oppression”, describing the incident as a “vengeful, lawless and undemocratic assault on the rule of law.”
