SERAP described the development as part of a broader pattern of harassment and reprisals against critics of President Bola Tinubu's administration.
The Socio-Economic Rights and Accountability Project (SERAP) has strongly condemned the revocation of the bail granted to human rights activist and presidential candidate of the African Action Congress (AAC), Omoyele Sowore, by the Federal High Court in Abuja.
SERAP described the development as part of a broader pattern of harassment and reprisals against critics of President Bola Tinubu's administration.
In a statement issued on Friday, SERAP expressed concern over the court decision and the issuance of a bench warrant for Sowore’s arrest.
SERAP said, "We’re seriously concerned about the reported revocation of bail granted to Omoyele Sowore by the Federal High Court in Abuja over allegations of cyberbullying based on the alleged social media posts he made last year concerning President Bola Tinubu.
