The African Action Congress (AAC) and the leadership of the Take It Back Movement (TIB) have accused the Nigerian government of using state institutions to persecute opposition voices, particularly Omoyele Sowore. The opposition party and TIB warned that no amount of “judicial manipulation, political harassment, or state intimidation” would prevent the party from pursuing power in the 2027 elections.
