NASA launched the $4B Nancy Grace Roman Telescope to tackle dark energy, dark matter, and exoplanets. It can map the Milky Way in a month, much faster than Hubble.

Targeting launch Aug. 30, the Nancy Grace Roman Space Telescope will attempt to directly image a set of exoplanets selected with help from Cornell faculty member Dmitry Savransky.
