Accommodation prices in Burgas have surged dramatically following the announcement that the Black Sea city will host the Eurovision Song Contest in May 2027, with some listings reaching more than €4,000 per night and three-night stays exceeding €12,000. The sharp increase appeared within hours of the official announcement.

Next year's Eurovision Song Contest will take place in Burgas, Bulgaria. Organizers announced Thursday that it's the first time the event will be held in the Balkan country.
