MANILA, Philippines – Sen. Kiko Pangilinan is seeking a Senate inquiry into the collapse of a building in Angeles City, Pampanga.

Filed by Pangilinan on Tuesday, Senate Resolution No. 406 seeks a review of the National Building Code following an assessment of the incident that killed four individuals.

“This accident reflects the urgent need to strengthen the implementation of safety regulations in the construction of buildings, whether public or private,” he said in Filipino.
