LUCENA CITY — Despite the approaching rainy season, several areas in Cavite, Batangas, and Rizal provinces are still expected to experience dangerous heat index levels on Friday.
The three provinces are among the five that make up Calabarzon.
Authorities in Taytay, Rizal, warned residents that the locality’s heat index had reached 46.69 degrees Celsius as of 11:20 a.m.
