LUCENA CITY, Quezon – Three areas in Cavite, Batangas, and Rizal are expected to experience dangerous heat levels on Wednesday amid isolated rain showers forecast across the country due to easterlies and localized thunderstorms, according to the state weather bureau.
Based on monitoring by the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical, and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa), Sangley Point in Cavite City is forecast to register a heat index of 43°C.

The disaster management office of Cuenca town in Batangas said in a public advisory posted on Facebook at 10:30 a.m. that the municipality is expected to experience a 46°C heat index.
