The Danube River showed little change across the Bulgarian section over the past 24 hours, with water levels either remaining stable or registering only minor fluctuations, according to the Executive Agency for the Study and Maintenance of the Danube River.
Data from the agency showed a slight decline of between 1 and 2 centimeters at the water gauging stations in Novo Selo, Lom and Ruse. Water levels remained unchanged at Oryahovo, Nikopol and Svishtov, while Silistra recorded a modest increase of 4 centimeters.
Despite the isolated rise at Silistra, the overall hydrological situation along the river remains difficult as low water levels continue to affect navigation conditions.
According to the River Supervision Directorate, no vessels became stranded either within or outside the navigation channel during the past day.
Authorities said all existing draft restrictions for vessels along the entire Bulgarian stretch of the Danube remain in force.
