A 10-year-old child is receiving treatment at a hospital in the town in Kalamata, in the Peloponnese, after falling into the Neda gorge during a family hike on Friday.
According to local news outlet patrisnews, the boy reportedly slipped while walking on a path dropping 25 meters down the ravine.
Rescuers who were called at the scene pulled the boy out of the ravine. No further details have yet been released by the hospital on the type and seriousness of the boy’s injuries.
