A rescue operation was underway on Mount Olympus, northern Greece, on Saturday to extricate a Greek climber who fell into a ravine earlier in the day.

Local authorities were informed at 13.20 about the incident and dispatched two EMAK search and rescue units to the area. According to information from thesspost.gr, the man is in a place that is difficult to approach.

The climber’s health condition remains unknown.
