Monday will bring mostly sunny weather to Bulgaria at first, followed by increasing atmospheric instability, thunderstorms and a risk of hail in parts of the country. Temperatures will ease slightly from the recent heat but will remain high, reaching 30-35 degrees Celsius in most areas.

During the night, cloud cover will temporarily increase over Northwestern and Central Northern Bulgaria, with isolated precipitation possible. Winds will generally be light, becoming moderate from the east-northeast in Eastern Bulgaria and along the Danube Plain.

Monday morning will begin with plenty of sunshine, but clouds will build rapidly as the day progresses. Cumulus and cumulonimbus clouds are expected to form over western areas before noon and over eastern parts of the country in the afternoon.

Southwestern and Central Southern Bulgaria will face the greatest risk of deteriorating weather. Short-lived rain and thunderstorms are expected, with conditions favorable for hail in some areas.

Temperatures will be slightly lower than in recent days but will remain summer-like. Highs will range from 30 to 35 degrees Celsius, while Sofia will reach around 30 degrees. A mainly moderate northeast wind will blow across the country.
