During the night between Friday and Saturday, parts of Central Northern Bulgaria are expected to see brief but intense rainfall, with locally significant precipitation amounts. Thunderstorms are likely, and hail conditions cannot be ruled out. In contrast, western regions will remain mostly clear, and cloud cover is expected to gradually diminish across much of the country by the end of the day on Sataurday.
Winds will be weak to moderate, generally from the northwest, while in eastern areas they will come from the north. This airflow will bring slightly cooler air into the country. Daytime highs will range between 25°C and 30°C, reaching 32°C to 33°C in the far southwest. In Sofia, temperatures will hover around 26°C. Atmospheric pressure will stay slightly above the monthly average with little change during the day.
In the mountainous regions, cumulus cloud development is expected. Rainfall will occur only in isolated areas, mainly over the central and eastern mountain massifs. Winds in the higher elevations will be moderate to strong from the northwest. Temperatures will reach around 19°C at 1,200 meters and about 13°C at 2,000 meters.
Along the Black Sea coast, cloud cover will be considerable, with rainfall expected in the morning hours before gradually easing. By later in the day, conditions will improve and skies will begin to clear. Winds will be moderate, initially from the north-northwest, shifting after midday to the east-northeast. Maximum coastal temperatures will range between 25°C and 27°C. Sea water temperatures will remain between 24°C and 26°C, with sea state at 2–3.
