Sunny conditions are expected across Bulgaria on Friday, with temperatures remaining high, while afternoon instability will bring localized thunderstorms mainly over the western and central parts of the country.

The forecast indicates mostly clear skies during the morning hours, followed by the development of cumulus and cumulonimbus clouds in the afternoon. These conditions are expected to trigger short showers and thunderstorms in some areas. A light northeast wind will prevail, with maximum temperatures ranging between 30°C and 35°C, and around 31°C in Sofia. Atmospheric pressure is expected to remain slightly above the seasonal average with minimal daily change.

In mountainous regions, the weather will also start off sunny before cloud development after midday leads to possible rain and thunder in places. Winds will be light to moderate from the northeast. Temperatures will reach around 24°C at 1,200 meters and approximately 16°C at 2,000 meters.

Along the Black Sea coast, mostly sunny conditions will dominate throughout the day, supported by a sea breeze. Daytime highs will range between 28°C and 31°C, while sea water temperatures will remain between 23°C and 24°C. Wave activity is expected to be weak, at 1–2 points.
