BAGUIO CITY — Continuous rains battered Benguet, causing floodwaters to submerge areas of the famous Strawberry Farm in the capital town of La Trinidad.
The popular tourist spot was left under knee-deep water, which disrupted local activities and impacted nearby shops and businesses.

As part of its response, the Philippine Red Cross (PRC) Benguet Chapter roamed the stretch of berry farms and the diversion road of the Benguet AgriPinoy Trading Center to monitor the impacts of the flood on community health.
