BAGUIO CITY, Philippines — A section of the Abatan–Mankayan–Cervantes national road in Barangay Tabio, Mankayan, Benguet was totally closed to all types of vehicles on Tuesday, Aug. 11, due to worsening conditions caused by persistent rains.
The Mankayan Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (MDRRMO) advised motorists to use alternate routes while the affected section remains closed.Light vehicles may take the Bayoyo–Pas-adan–Colalo route, while loaded vehicles may use the Paco–Colalo provincial road.Ten-wheeler trucks are not advised to travel along the route due to the prevailing road conditions.
