TUGUEGARAO CITY – The Philippine Coast Guard at District North Eastern Luzon has enforced a “no sail policy” for all water vessels within their area as tropical storm Maymay is expected to linger along Luzon.
The coast guard stations in Batanes, Cagayan, Isabela, and Aurora have suspended all maritime operations.
Weather data showed that Maymay was spotted 170 km west of Bacnotan, La Union (16.7°N, 118.8°E) with maximum sustained winds of 65 km/h near the center and gusts of up to 80 km/h on Wednesday morning.
