LUCENA CITY, Quezon — The Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) suspended the operations of small vessels in northern Quezon on Wednesday afternoon, July 8, as rough seas generated by Super Typhoon ‘Inday’ threatened the safety of sea travel.
In a public advisory, the PCG station in Real, Quezon cited the latest weather bulletin issued by the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa), which warned of strong to gale-force winds affecting parts of northern Quezon.

The affected areas include the Polillo Islands, the northern coast of Panukulan, Burdeos, the eastern coast of Patnanungan and Jomalig.FEATURED STORIES
As a result, all vessels and small watercraft of 250 gross tons and below operating within the affected routes were ordered to suspend trips until further notice.
