SAN ANTONIO, Zambales – The Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) Zambales suspended on Friday (July 10) sea travel for all vessels in the province due to rough sea conditions brought by southwest monsoon enhanced by the tropical cyclone Inday (international name: Bavi).

In an advisory, Commander Euphraim Jayson Diciano, head of the Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) Zambales said that the operation of all vessels and motorboats, 250 gross tonnage (GT) and below except for purposes of taking shelter, are suspended.

“The riding public, coastal communities, and fisherfolk are strongly advised not to undertake any sea or weather-related activities until conditions return to normal in order to avoid accidents or loss of life,” said Diciano in an advisory.
