SAN ANTONIO, Zambales — All 13 towns in Zambales suspended classes on Monday, August 10 as rains due to the southwest monsoon or “habagat.” continued to pound the province.

The respective local government units announced class suspensions in Subic, Castillejos, San Marcelino, San Antonio, San Narciso, San Felipe, Cabangan, Botolan, Iba, Palauig, Masinloc, Candelaria and Sta. Cruz.

The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) forecast 100 to 200 millimeters of rainfall over Zambales from Sunday through Monday noon.
