SAN ANTONIO, Zambales — Classes at all levels will remain suspended in several parts of Zambales on Friday, Aug. 7, as the effects of Tropical Depression Maymay (international name: Kujira) and the enhanced southwest monsoon continue to bring heavy rains to the province.

Several local government units announced Thursday night the suspension of classes in public and private schools in San Felipe, Cabangan, Botolan, and Palauig.

Malacañang also suspended government work and classes at all levels on Thursday in Metro Manila and several provinces, including Zambales, upon the recommendation of the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council.
