Signal No. 2 up in 6 Nothern Luzon areas as Maymay intensifies

MANILA, Philippines — The Tropical Cyclone Wind Signal (TCWS) No. 2 remained hoisted in six areas of Northern Luzon as Tropical Storm Maymay (international name: Kujira) slightly intensified on Wednesday afternoon, the state weather bureau said.
In its 2 p.m. weather bulletin, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said that Maymay was last seen 160 kilometers west-southwest of Sinait, Ilocos Sur as of 1 p.m.
