A 46-year-old Greek woman wanted in connection with the 2010 arson attack on an Athens bank that killed three employees has agreed to be extradited from the United Kingdom, according to state broadcaster ERT.

Appearing before Westminster Magistrates’ Court in London, the woman signed a binding agreement consenting to her extradition.

The judge said the Greek extradition request would be carried out within 10 days unless delays arose on the Greek side, and ordered that the woman remain in custody until then.

Meanwhile in Athens, the two other suspects, both aged 42, arrested as part of the fresh investigation into the case were remanded after appearing before an investigating magistrate to testify.

According to reports, both defendants denied any involvement in the attack during their testimony before the investigating magistrate. One suspect, whom police allege smashed a window at the Marfin branch, reportedly acknowledged taking part in the 2010 protest but said he left when the violence erupted. The second defendant also said he attended the demonstration but was elsewhere when the attack took place.
