Police in Crete have arrested a 60-year-old man accused of operating a hydroponic cannabis greenhouse on his property in the Mylopotamos area.
The suspect was already wanted under an arrest warrant issued in 2025 after an alleged accomplice was found with 640 cannabis plants in the Kissamos area.
Searches of properties linked to the suspect uncovered 103 cannabis plants, some up to 2.5 meters tall, growing in a hydroponic greenhouse. Officers also seized cultivation equipment, a precision scale and a vehicle allegedly used to transport the drugs.
The 60-year-old is expected to appear before judicial authorities.
