During the night, skies will clear across most of Bulgaria. Eastern parts of the country will see periods of variable cloudiness, with isolated showers possible. A light west-northwest wind will continue to blow.
The day will be mostly sunny, although cumulus clouds will develop during the afternoon hours. Short-lived rainfall is expected in some areas of eastern Bulgaria and in mountainous regions. Winds will remain light to moderate from the west-northwest. Temperatures will reach between 26°C and 31°C, while Sofia will see highs of around 26°C.
In the mountains, sunny weather will dominate for most of the day. Afternoon cloud development may bring brief showers in isolated areas. Winds will remain moderate, becoming strong in the highest mountain areas, blowing from the west-northwest. Temperatures will reach around 22°C at an altitude of 1,200 meters and about 14°C at 2,000 meters.
Along the Black Sea coast, cloudier conditions are expected compared with inland areas. Local showers are possible, mainly in the afternoon. Before noon, a moderate west wind will blow, shifting to an east-southeast direction later in the day.
Coastal temperatures will range between 25°C and 28°C. The seawater temperature will remain between 24°C and 26°C, while sea conditions will be relatively calm, with waves reaching 1 to 2 points.
