As transport infrastructure upgrades along AZ Berman Drive in Mitchells Plain continue as part of the MyCiTi Phase 2A project, a traffic lane switch is planned for Friday, June 26, the City advised.
The traffic lane switch will take place on the carriageway between the BP service station and the Mitchells Plain Police Station along AZ Berman Drive.
"The planned traffic lane switch from Friday, June 26, 2026, will move motorists travelling between the BP service station and the Mitchells Plain Police Station onto the newly completed carriageway, with two lanes available in each direction.
"We ask road users to please follow the temporary road markings, remain alert when travelling through the area and allow for extra travel time while crews complete the remaining works.
