Media personality and TV Jub Jub is set to appear in court on Wednesday after arrest over alleged kidnapping and shooting.
Media personality and TV host Molemo Maarohanye, popularly known as Jub Jub, who was arrested following an alleged kidnapping and shooting incident involving an e-hailing driver in Edenvale, will no longer appear in court on Monday.
Instead, he is scheduled to appear in the Germiston Magistrate's Court on Wednesday.
The development comes after the 45-year-old musician was arrested on Sunday evening, June 14, on charges of kidnapping, unlawful discharge of a firearm and defeating the ends of justice.
According to Gauteng police spokesperson Captain Tintswalo Sibeko, the incident allegedly occurred at about 7:30am when an e-hailing driver transported a female passenger to a residence in Edenvale.
