Schools in Thoothukudi and Kanniyakumari districts reopened on Thursday after the summer vacation, with students arriving enthusiastically.At several schools across the districts, teachers welcomed the students with flowers and sweets.The State government had earlier announced that schools would reopen on Thursday after the summer break. Accordingly, school campuses and classrooms were cleaned and readied in advance and basic facilities were ensured.Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises Minister P. Mathanraja and Thoothukudi District Collector Vishu Mahajan welcomed the students with sweets at VTVD Government Higher Secondary School in Vallanadu.Kanniyakumari District Collector M.
