MANILA, Philippines — The Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG), the Philippine National Police (PNP), and the Korean International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) have agreed to implement an upgraded system for managing data on crimes in the Philippines.

The upgraded system is called the Criminal Investigation Data Management and Analysis System (CIDMAS).

The DILG said the record of discussions was signed on Thursday by Interior Secretary Jonvic Remulla, PNP chief Gen. Jose Melencio Nartatez Jr., KOICA officials Jung Youngsun and Lee Hwayeon, and PNP Investigation and Detective Management Director Brig. Gen. Matthew Baccay.
