MANILA, Philippines — The Department of Justice (DOJ) will evaluate the newly filed complaint by the Philippine National Police-Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (PNP-CIDG) against Sen. Robin Padilla and his co-respondents.
“As with any complaint filed before the department, the same will be evaluated in accordance with established procedures and applicable rules,” DOJ Spokesperson Atty. Polo Martinez said as he confimed that the complaint was received at approximately 4:50 p.m. yesterday, May 28.

The complaint was in relation to Padilla’s participation in the supposed escape of Sen. Ronald “Bato” dela Rosa on the early morning of May 14, a day after the Senate shooting incident.
