MANILA, Philippines — Sen. Robin Padilla may face obstruction of justice charges if he is found to be harboring Sen. Ronald “Bato” dela Rosa, the Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG) said in a press briefing in Camp Crame on Friday.
Asked if Padilla is now a person of interest in the search for dela Rosa, CIDG director Maj. Gen. Robert Alexander Morico II answered, “It depends on whether dela Rosa is at Padilla’s house.”
“If we get dela Rosa from Padilla’s house, he could face an obstruction of justice charge,” Morico noted.
