Victims, kin of Pampanga building collapse to get cash aid – Dole

MANILA, Philippines — Qualified victims of the collapse of a nine-story building in Angeles City, Pampanga, will receive cash assistance from the Department of Labor and Employment (Dole), the agency said on Thursday.

Labor Secretary Francis Tolentino ordered the Employees’ Compensation Commission to disburse the financial aid under the Employees’ Compensation (EC) program.

“Under the EC Program, the ECC will provide PHP 15,000.00 in immediate cash assistance to the beneficiaries of the qualified deceased workers,” the Dole said in a press statement.
