MANILA, Philippines – Twenty six persons have so far been rescued after a building under construction collapsed in Angeles City, Pampanga before fdawn Sunday.
According to the Angeles City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (ACDRRMO), a proposed nine-story concrete building under construction collapsed at around 3 a.m. in Teodoro Street, Balibago, Angeles City.
“24 na indibidwal na ang matagumpay na narescue mula sa gumuhong istruktura. Nasa dalawang (2) katao rin ang narescue sa isang apartelle na tinamaan sa pagguho ng itinatayong gusali,” Angeles City Information Office said in a statement, citing the ACDRRMO’s report.
“Twenty-four individuals have been successfully rescued from the collapsed structure. Two persons were also rescued from an apartelle that was hit by the collapse of a building under construction,” the Angeles City Information Office said in a statement in Filipino, citing the ACDRRMO’s report.
