Two men have been arrested in Athens for dealing in drugs with a total street value of €420,000 and possession of a handgun and a machete, police said Wednesday
A police statement said Monday’s arrests followed a tip-off. Officers raided the home of a 25-year-old man and seized 75 kilograms of marijuana as well as 750 grams of cocaine, the weapons and four pairs of precision scales.
A 20-year-old man was also arrested on suspicion of having taken delivery of a kilo of marijuana from the first suspect.
Police only identified the suspects as foreign nationals who had previous involvement in drugs cases and other offenses.
