The newly re-elected executive committee of the Allied Peoples Movement taking oaths of office and allegiance during inauguration on Monday evening in Yaba, Lagos.
The Lagos State chapter of the Allied Peoples Movement has re-elected Mrs Bunmi Adeyemo and 16 others as members of the state executive committee.
The party executives emerged through consensus during the state congress held in the Yaba area of Lagos, with delegates and party supporters in attendance.
The congress also attracted several leaders of the Peoples Democratic Party who formed an alliance with APM leaders ahead of the 2027 elections.
Speaking at the event on Monday, the Chairman of the Congress Committee, Mr Godwin Williamson, commended the peaceful conduct of delegates and party leaders during the exercise.
