Amid petitions and protests, the Lagos State chapter of the All Progressives Congress, APC, has released the names of flagbearers of its House of Representatives and State House of Assembly after winning primaries ahead of the 2027 general elections.
In a public notice signed by the Lagos APC Chairman, Cornelius Ojelabi, the list contained 24 candidates for the House of Representatives and 40 candidates for the Lagos State House of Assembly.
Leading the pack are: Speaker, Lagos State House of Assembly, Mudashiru Obasa, who won the primary unopposed, and emerged as the candidate for Agege Federal Constituency..
