The governorship candidate of the Allied People's Movement for the 2027 election in Lagos State, Laja Adeoye

The Allied Peoples Movement in Lagos State says it has concluded the screening of aspirants seeking to contest elective positions on the party’s platform ahead of the 2027 general elections.

The Chairman of the APM Lagos State Screening Committee, Mr Abiodun Abari, disclosed this in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria on Saturday in Lagos after the screening exercise.

Abari said that the five-man committee screened the party’s only consensus governorship aspirant, Prince Laja Adeoye, alongside other aspirants for various elective positions in the state.

According to him, the committee screened three senatorial aspirants, 24 aspirants for the House of Representatives and 40 aspirants for the Lagos State House of Assembly seats.
