The All Progressives Congress candidate for Amuwo-Odofin Constituency I in the Lagos State House of Assembly election, Olaitan Folorunsho, has commended the leadership of the party and the conduct of the recently concluded primary election that produced him as the APC flag bearer.
Folorunsho, popularly known as OlaWestern, emerged victorious in the primary after polling 3,161 votes out of the 3,303 votes cast, defeating three other aspirants to secure the party’s ticket for the 2027 election.
Speaking at a press conference on Tuesday at his constituency office in Lagos, the APC candidate expressed gratitude to party leaders, delegates and supporters for what he described as a peaceful and credible exercise.
“I am deeply honoured by the massive turnout, the show of love and the overwhelming support received during this peaceful and hitch-free primary process,” Folorunsho said.
