adsThe All Progressives Congress(APC) has declared Akin Rotimi winner of the party’s House of Representatives primary election for Ekiti North Federal Constituency I after the exercise was earlier declared inconclusive over alleged infractions.
Announcing the result, the Chairman of the APC House of Representatives Primary Committee, Wasiu Adedoyin said the outcome of the election conducted in the Oye/Ikole federal constituency last weekend was released after extensive consultations with the national leadership of the party.
Adedoyin said the committee had initially suspended the declaration of the result due to alleged irregularities observed during the exercise conducted on May 16, 2026.

He, however, stated that following consultations with the APC national leadership, the committee resolved to release the final outcome of the primary election.
