A member of the Lagos State House of Assembly representing Oshodi-Isolo Constituency I, Stephen Ogundipe, has expressed appreciation to members of the All Progressives Congress and his supporters for what he described as overwhelming support during the party’s primary election.
According to a statement on Thursday, Ogundipe, a first-term lawmaker seeking re-election, gave the appreciation on Wednesday after the APC House of Assembly primary held in Oshodi-Isolo Constituency I, Lagos.
The lawmaker, who also chairs the House Committee on Information, said the mandate freely given to him by party members without inducement, intimidation or manipulation would never be taken for granted.
Addressing supporters after the exercise, Ogundipe said he remained humbled by the trust, confidence and love shown toward him and the shared vision for the development of Oshodi-Isolo.
