NASA's Nancy Grace Roman Space Telescope will study dark matter, dark energy and exoplanets after launching on SpaceX's Falcon Heavy rocket.

Targeting launch Aug. 30, the Nancy Grace Roman Space Telescope will attempt to directly image a set of exoplanets selected with help from Cornell faculty member Dmitry Savransky.

As NASA prepares to launch the Nancy Grace Roman Space Telescope this weekend, Rochester Institute of Technology’s Don Figer examines the telescope.
