Police arrested a 33-year-old man in Ilioupoli, Athens, accused of trafficking two 16-year-old girls for sexual exploitation, authorities said Monday.
Officers from the police’s Minor Protection Subdivision detained the suspect, who has reportedly appeared in adult films, on an arrest warrant following an investigation.
Police said he recruited the minors around June, arranging paid meetings with clients through ads on adult websites that included girls’ photos and his phone number. He allegedly kept most of the proceeds, giving the teenagers a small allowance.
He faces charges including trafficking of minors, abduction, child pornography and procuring. He resisted arrest; officers seized digital evidence and 45 grams of raw cannabis. He was brought before prosecutors.
