Two men have been arrested in Agrinio, a town in western Greece, over the alleged kidnap and rape of a 15-year-old girl, according to a local news outlet.
The teen had been reported missing by her parents on Tuesday and an alert was issued by the charity The Smile of the Child.
The minor was eventually found on Wednesday after a police raid on the home of a 31-year-old man in Agrinio. Once safe, the girl allegedly told the police she had been raped by the man and another 32-year-old suspect who was later apprehended during a police check on a car stopped on the Antirrio-Amfilochia national road.
Authorities have ordered a forensic and toxicological tests as part of the investigation.
