Beauty in the Motherland (BITML) is set to return to Lagos in 2026. This year’s edition is riding on the success of the 2025 edition, which brought together leading beauty brands, exhibitors, beauty professionals, creators, industry leaders, buyers and beauty enthusiasts for three days of exhibition, connection, learning and business opportunities.
The 2026 edition, which will be held from October 5–7, 2026, at the Eko Convention Centre, Eko Hotel and Suites, Lagos, is expected to surpass the past event across all boards, amid impacts.
Speaking ahead of the event, the organisers noted that BITML; Africa’s leading beauty exhibition, was created to celebrate and advance Africa’s rich beauty, natural and creative resources while creating greater access to markets and opportunities across the continent. The platform, according to them, is driven by a clear vision: to empower the African beauty industry with structure, visibility, market access and opportunities for sustainable growth. As well, its Vision 2030 ambition is to help the industry attain a $USD100 billion value, positioning Africa not only as a consumer market, but as a global centre for beauty innovation, brands, talent, manufacturing and investment.
