A 37-year-old man was arrested after police seized R2 million worth of drugs in Khayelitsha on Wednesday.
Police in the Western Cape have recovered a total of R3.5 million worth of drugs in two days in Khayelitsha in separate incidents.
The latest incident comes after a tactical operation was carried out by the police’s Anti-Economic Crime Task team in collaboration with the Provincial Counterfeit and Illicit Policing Team in Thaleni Square.
The R2 million worth of drugs seized by police on Wednesday morning.
The provincial police spokesperson, Thembakazi Mpendukana, said the operation took place on Wednesday, August 26.
