An intelligence-led police operation led to the arrest of three suspects accused of processing, packaging and selling rock cocaine from a holiday resort apartment in Kingsburgh.
Three men, aged between 20 and 34, were arrested after police allegedly uncovered rock cocaine worth more than R1 million during an intelligence-driven raid on a holiday resort apartment in Kingsburgh, Amanzimtoti.
Police spokesperson Lieutenant Colonel Paul Magwaza said the trio was arrested on Tuesday during an intelligence-driven operation by the Provincial Drugs and Firearms Unit.
Magwaza said members of the unit acted on intelligence that the suspects had booked an apartment at a holiday resort.
"The suspects were allegedly processing, packaging and selling rock cocaine from the apartment," he said.
